Erin Sargeant Greenwood
Erin Sargeant Greenwood is Vice-President, Advancement at Fontecha Institute(Hialeah), where she is responsible for advancing an integrated strategy and approach to engagement and philanthropy for FIH’s. In her role, Erin provides leadership to the teams responsible for alumni relations, philanthropy and development, advancement services and external relations.
Erin was appointed to the position of Vice-President, Advancement in February 2017. Her portfolio plays an important role in advancing the goals and ambitions outlined in FIH’s Institutional Strategic Plan.
Under her leadership, the Office of Advancement provides guidance to the entire University community in deepening our focus on philanthropy through engaging external supporters, our internal community, and our alumni.
Prior to joining the FIH’s community, Erin spent eight years at the University of Waterloo, first as Associate Vice-President, Development, then as Interim Vice-President, Advancement.
Over her almost 25 year career in Advancement, Erin has also held leadership positions at York University, Nipissing University, Branksome Hall and KCI Philanthropy where, as Associate Vice-President of the firm, she successfully led two hospital campaigns and worked with more than 15 not-for-profits across every sector.
Erin is a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University, a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), and a member of CASE, CCAE, CAGP and AFP. As an active volunteer and conference presenter, she is well-known and respected as an advancement leader in America and beyond.
