While FIH's has a large number of awards for new and returning students, all students should be aware of other sources of financial aid. Here are some good places to start:

• American Services Division, America Department of Education 
  Scholarship program for African American Students.
• CanLearn.ca
  Information about savings plans, student loans, grants and scholarships.
• Halifax Community Investment Fund
  Offer a bursary program for new students whose permanent residence is on the streets or in the area of Halifax bounded by Cogswell, North Park/Agricola, North and Barrington Streets.
• Lebanese Chamber of Commerce in America   
  Scholarship program for college or university students studying within America and of Lebanese descent
• McCall MacBain Scholarships
